Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am a professional musical theatre performer and director based in Kansas City and I received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in December 2018 from Kansas State University. I am currently teaching theatre at Providence School of Arts and I have been teaching private lessons since 2017. Because all students have a unique style of mearning, at any age, I usually choose music that fits the student's ability at that time. If a student has a special request to learn a certain song, we discuss if it will be appropriate for them, or if they have to work up to that level. For piano students, I use the Thompson piano series (red book), and for other students, especially flute, there are methods books that I teach from. Read More
