I began teaching privately ten years ago and have had a varried studio with voice, violin and beginning piano students. I have had students ranging in age from three years to mature adult, all at very different levels of musical ability, and I have taught in the classroom in rural, urban and suburban settings. Instruments: Piano, Voice

Instruments: Voice
I believe in always cheering on my students and creating a warm and loving environment to help them grow! No matter what their age is, encouragement is key. Acknowledging their progress is what is going to move them forward and continue to learn and practice more. Constructive criticism is of course necessary, but it's important to focus on what the student is doing correct, and then build upon that and what they can do better. Read More
Instruments: Voice
Lessons will be broken up into warm-ups/vocal building exercises, plus application of techniques to repertoire appropriate to student's level and age. Additionally, some musicianship (rhythm, sight-reading, etc) may be incorporated into lessons. Read More
