I have been teaching piano 20 years ago as a first job out of a small church in Millersburg, Ohio. I had been taking piano since I was three and had been doing competition piano. I then went to Otterbein College and earned my degree in Voice. From there I started working for Music and Arts in Westerville as a piano instructor for 10 years. I'm a performer/instructor residing in Willowick, OH. I grew up around Cleveland, where I founded the band Synasis with my brother. We played several local shows, as well as opening for national touring artists. I attended The Recording Workshop to study audio engineering in both the analog and digital realm. I move at a very quick pace, but I have my students set their own goals. While I will select the literature for the student, I want them to feel successful when they are working with me. I want students to be confident and successful, so I will do anything in my power to help them learn good technique and practice habits.
