Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. The voice is not something we can see or touch, so I often joke that singing is about learning Jedi mind tricks that help us achieve a healthy technique. In doing so, in-depth understanding of the text in the song will be discussed in order to articulate the text with good phrasing and direction. For a clarinet student, I will generally warm up with breathing techniques and proper embouchures to produce good tone.
