It is my goal to teach my students the basics of music to encourage and grow their love of music; from picking up their first instrument to singing their first note, my goal is to teach them music while playing and having fun by using the Kodály method.
I find it more awarding to myself and my students develop the passion for music! With this being said, I find it highly important to progress with the student's pace. It is my goal to set goals that will fit the student's ability and to push to the point that the student can handle at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps that student's self-esteem and will eager the student to push his/her self more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instructions to their needs and wants.

Courtney is a person who is very patient with everyone, young and old. You can tell that she really enjoys teaching music. I had 3 of my children who she taught piano too. They are were beginners. She really pushed them to do their best. She really blew me out of my mind when my children told me they were getting new piano books!!!
