I graduated in 2011 from Appalachian State University with a Bachelorof Music in Voice Performacne and I continued my education at ASU and recieved my Masters of Music in Voice Performance in 2013. During both degrees, I performed mainstage roles such as Nemorino in Donizetti'sElixir of Love, the Witch in Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel, Bastienin Mozart's Bastien und Bastienne, and Gherardo in Puccini's GianniSchicchi, as well as performed solos with the Appalachian Chorale suchas Handel's Messiah and Mendelsohn's Elijah.  Music is a very physical thing as well as a very abstract thing.  In my lessons, there will be kennistetic learning through movement as well as teaching through sensation. Using tools like Solfege it helps create muscle memory and tuning. Piano students will learn a wealth of theory knowledge, correct posture and fingering patterns.
