I am a recent university graduate who is passionate about sharing my love of music with students, and developing that devotion with them! I have a special interest in performing, so my lessons reflect my training in performance with major orchestras. I currently participate in the Seven Hills Symphony here in Cincinnati, as well as smaller chamber ensembles for paid gigs. I am a devoted musician and private lesson instructor in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharing my love for music with my students is a passion of mine, and I strive to help my students achieve success every day. I start all students with getting a firm grasps of the basics of tone production and air support. I do this through long tone exercises as well as scale work to start learning more notes on the instrument. I focus on slowing incorporating more dynamics, articulation, and time signatures from there. The biggest challenge in the beginning is learning about you as a student and how you learn. My teaching experience started in Music Collage,where teaching of school age students was part of curriculum .After graduation from Kiev Conservatory I taught individual violin and viola lessons at Kiev Music School #10 for Gifted Children. Shortly after immigrating to the United States I joined the teaching staff of the Notre Dame School of Music,where I served as a violin teacher for 5 years. When in 2005 the school was closed,I decided to continue teaching and created my private studio, where I have been teaching students of all ages and levels to play violin,viola and piano. Read More
