My passion for teaching began in 2010 as a teaching assistant, teaching beginning music group lessons for first to third graders. Since then, I have been giving private lessons both in person and via online platforms. As a doctoral candidate, I am currently serving as a teaching assistant and instructing private technique lessons for college level students. I believe that having the proper training on technique is essential, as it is one of the most effective way to express and enlarge students musical ideas and interpretation. Read More

I am from the Columbus, Ohio region and am receiving my Bachelors in Music Education in May 2021 with my primary instrument being saxophone. I am extremely close to my family, living with my mom, grandpa, and three sisters. I enjoy being outside and reading in my free time. I love to see students grow individually in music through their instruments or general love of music. Making music is one of the most rewarding and intimate experiences someone can have. Read More

I started teaching in 1991 after graduating with a degree in Music History. I also gained training at that time as a Suzuki Teacher books 1 to 4. As I grew as a teacher I learned that to reach students I had to mold to their way of learning, so I now don't use one particular method. I also spent 9 months in Ireland playing in sessions with the Irish, and going to the University of Limerick. Read More

I began teaching privately as a high school student, working with begnning students at the middle school. I have taught privately in my home and in students' homes since graduating from college. Regular practice is very important and something I emphasize with my students. I like to include a mixture of classical and modern music in my lessons, so that students enjoy what they are learning and playing. If a student does not enjoy their time playing their instrument, they will not want to put the practice in and lessons will become a point of argument.  Read More

My teaching experience started in Music Collage,where teaching of school age students was part of curriculum .After graduation from Kiev Conservatory I taught individual violin and viola lessons at Kiev Music School #10 for Gifted Children. Shortly after immigrating to the United States I joined the teaching staff of the Notre Dame School of Music,where I served as a violin teacher for 5 years. When in 2005 the school was closed,I decided to continue teaching and created my private studio, where I have been teaching students of all ages and levels to play violin,viola and piano. Read More
