I value my students' enjoyment of our lessons, and I try to incorporate concepts that they will look forward to learning. I am passionate about all aspects of music, including music composition, theory, and history, and I include these important subjects in my instruction. I believe that anyone has the potential to be a talented musician, regardless of age, abilities, or former experience. I have helped 5 year old students with ADHD learn to focus during instruction, and I have helped students in their 40s learn a skill they never had a chance to learn as children. Read More

My name is Amos, and I've performed and taught all over the world. I'm excited to share my love of music with a variety of students.  I've performed in orchestras like the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, performed recitals on three continents, and even spent some time teaching in South America. I graduated from Wright State University in May of 2014 and received my teaching license in December 2014. I have performed in many different groups including Cincinnati Boychoir, May Festival Youth Chorus, Great Miami Youth Symphony, Wright State University Chamber Orchestra, and the Hamilton Fairfield Chorale. When starting with a young beginner student, I typically start with the beginning Suzuki Method books or Essential Elements books. I will also work on school repertoire if applicable. Once they have advanced past the level of the Suzuki books, I will begin to introduce solo works appropriate for their level and desire. When teaching adults of varying abilities, my methods are much more tailored to their wants in terms of style of music, difficulty of the pieces and the speed at which they would like to learn.
