I've been teaching voice and violin for the past year and a half to children and adults but I mostly tend to work with younger students from early teens well into the 20s who want to pursue music. The background for my teaching experience comes from a few different sources. I understand that it is a challenge for students to go home and practice, so I address this by setting goals for the student. I want the student to leave the lesson feeling proud of what they accomplished and motivated to continue learning. For the past 20 years, I've studied and performed with keyboards, guitars and woodwind instruments while exploring a very wide variety of music ranging from classical and rock to jazz and avant-garde.
