So I like to make sure that I'm always challenging them but never pushing them too hard, helping them get better at their own pace. I am now currently teaching multiple students throughout the Piedmont triad area as well as online Skype lessons in trumpet fundamentals, classical and jazz. My wonderful mother started me in piano lessons when I was 5 years old. She never dreamed that I would go on to get a degree in music during those first years of lessons. I studied piano under Dr. John Cobb, who holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from Julliard. I continued piano lessons for 13 years, but when I started college, I decided to major in trumpet.
