Jerry is the principal trumpet with the Chamber Orchestra of New York and a member of Alia Music Pittsburgh and Eclectic Laboratory Chamber Orchestra. Jerry has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra,, the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and others. Internationally, he has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Point Chamber Orchestra, and attended the Opera and Music Festival of Lucca. I have played trumpet since the 4th grade and I played throughout high school, college up to today. I sang and played in multiple ensembles throughout my schooling career. I like to set goals for my students. I generally work out of lessons books, solo repertoire, and whatever else the student brings in. If the students have music from classes in school, I will also assist them with that. I try to keep the lesson light, and enjoyable! After they have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire and etudes for their first recital performance.
