Gerald is adjunct lecturer at Saint Vincent College and teaches at Hope Academy, a music school affiliated with East Liberty Presbyterian Church. Jerry received degrees in trumpet performance under the guidance of George Vosburgh at Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University.
Jerry is the principal trumpet with the Chamber Orchestra of New York and a member of Alia Music Pittsburgh and Eclectic Laboratory Chamber Orchestra. Jerry has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra,, the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and others. Internationally, he has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Point Chamber Orchestra, and attended the Opera and Music Festival of Lucca. As an arts advocate, he is a member of the OvreArts and Black Orchid String Trio board of directors promoting growth in small arts collaborations and education.
