The trumpet can be a physically demanding instrument and it is important to practice and perform in a way that will allow the student to achieve the maximum gains with every lesson, while also minimizing any risk of strain or overexertion. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
