Breathing is another aspect that I look at and always breathe by expanding the diaphragm. I use the essential elements series for trombone beginners and melodious etudes for more experienced trombone players. I have taught trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium, piano, bass (electric and standup) as well as theory and composition. I hold a Master's degree in composition -- studying with Barney Childs, a protege of Aaron Copland.
