Originally from Thailand, I have performed in various professional and festival ensembles including around the world, including Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, Arizona Opera, Ture Concord Voices and Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Opera and Philharmonic Winds (Singapore). I was a member of Spoleto Festival USA in 2016 and 2017, and, in 2015, I participated in Aspen Music Festival. I have earned honors and awards such as Winner of Concerto Competition at Texas Christian University, Cleveland State University, Winner of Rangsit University Solo Trombone Competition, and finalist American Trombone Workshop Division III Bass Trombone Solo Competition in 2015 and 2016. I am and have been a passionate musical person. The moment I went into 6th grade and got the clarinet as my instrument, that was all I could focus on, and here we are. For beginner students who are children, I usually start with the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has advanced to where I can see that they have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the instrument, that is typically when I begin to introduce solo repertoire and supplement with my own material. For adult beginners, I typically will try and use the Essential Elements book to start with but not for very long. Read More
