Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I introduce scales early in lessons. I not only teach traditional scale performance, I teach the mathematical and emotional significance of scales and intervals. Asa student's proficiency progresses, I introduce solo repertoire and encourage recording of solos through Smart Music software. This becomes a milestone ina student's development, as it rekindles interest through technology and creates excitement about professional musicianship. As a private instructor I have seen several ups and downs, whether through the music they are working on or a personal problem, but it is great to see how having something that they are passionate brings this new perspective in everything they do. I usually ask several questions first, about your goals in participating with music. I want to encourage friendly competition, to have fun and to decide how competitive you may choose to be later. Most people don't want to be super competitive, but many are talented to do so. Most people are in music for the overall enjoyment of it, and some realize friendly competition is a win-win. I don't have many official teaching experiences, except for my student observing classes. For a class we had to drive to some middle school and high school for a year, attend about 4hrs and help the bands in these schools. I was able to help at Robstown High School and Seale middle school, and got the opportunity to help their clarinet sections as much as possible. I also attended HMK High school and Gillette Middle School, here I was able to work with all instrument players but focus more on music theory. Read More
