Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Back in 2018, I was in some practicum classes through Trinity University. I got to see how it was to be a music teacher and felt a calling more so than when I decided to major in music education back in high school. There is nothing more inspiring and rewarding than watching a student grow. For that reason, I meet students where they are. After an initial assessment of knowledge and skill, I began tailoring lessons for each student individually depending on their skill level. Typical lessons would include a relevant theory mini lesson, teacher playing demonstration, and teacher guided practice. I had been fairly brave helping other students. and even those younger than I, to do things at church or at school. But, I discovered, accidentally, through a competition in our high school band program, that I could actually teach. The competition was between the different instrument groups in our band, to successfully march to music (all work planning/rehearsing/performing music and drill done by students), in front of the entire rest of the band and whoever else decided to show up at our football stadium.
