I have a very energetic and adaptable teaching style. Having worked with students from 3 years old to in their 30's, I can mold lessons to fit any type of attention span. I have also worked with students with special education needs and physical issues, so I can also work with parents to find ways for any student, regardless of their situation, to enjoy a life of music. I love teaching because I believe most, if not all, people love music and can learn to love making music. I want it to be fun for them, to keep them interested. I believe that a set of expectations on the student is required to keep them motivated, but I am never upset or disappointed if they don't practice enough. I think keeping them involved in music is the most important part, and I know that many students will not pursue a full time career in music, but music is valuable to them in so many ways. Read More

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education, with a focus on Euphonium. He has been a teaching artist at the Aspen Music Festival where he taught and managed a private studio of local students in the Roaring Forks Area. In middle school, I began performing and teaching music during the summers at Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-10. Throughout high school, as a member of a variety of bands, I performed at a wide array of venues around New England. During this time, I ventured into song writing and musical arrangement.
