Building a solid method approach for every student is essential to the students success. I choose a custom approach for each student, because each student is unique. There are many overlaps to my approach for each students lesson plan, however every lesson needs to be altered a little, since some students struggle in areas where others might succeed. As a result of those experiences, I built a private studio of trombone students made up of my classmates and have maintained a private studio ever since. I am a Chicago-based freelance Trombonist who recently graduated from DePaul University in 2021. Since I began my college career in Chicago, my professional music career started up simultaneously. Since 2017, I've played in a wide variety of ensembles around town. These ensembles / genres include: Wedding Bands, Jazz, Big Band, Classical, Funk, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Salsa, Rap, House, Fusion and more. I also incorporate solo repertoire and encourage my students to take part in activities such as the IMEA Solo and Ensemble Competitions.
