Instruments: Piano, Saxophone, Clarinet

There are lots of great teaching tools and methods available, and once I have an understanding of a student's current ability level and what they want to work on, I can make recommendations. For wind players, Essential Elements provides a good way to get started on an instrument. I look for ways to incorporate different styles of music from classical to jazz to pop music in addition to the important fundamentals you will learn from a method book. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Saxophone, Clarinet, Bass Guitar, Synthesizer, Ukulele, Music, Keyboard, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar

I took a long 20 year break from music to be a mental health therapist. I have had more time in the past couple of years and have picked up several instruments to heal after recalling past trauma. I find music an excellent way to express my feelings and have been participating in local music jams throughout Oregon. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Voice, Saxophone, Keyboard

My name is Evan, I am a huge British comedy fan, and I am a constant, evolving advocate of music. Classical music is my specialty, but I believe music crosses much more than disciplines, and I encourage that mindset in my teaching. I recently received my Master's degree from McGill University in Vocal Performance; while there, I was fortunate enough to work professionally through the Opera de Montreal and through the Opera America conference held in Montreal this past year.
