Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. To allow that to develop, I set realistic goals for my students so they can get feelings of accomplishment which will inspire them to learn more. Every student progresses at their own pace, so setting realistic goals is necessary so the student doesn't feel stuck or overwhelmed. For any beginning student, I make it a thing to always teach by ear as well as by sheet music. I find it equally important to be able to hear the notes that one can play on their instrument just like they can see the notes they can play in the process. I am a versatile musician who has experience in all kinds of music and performance situations. In 2017, I graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Technology, while also extensively studying classical and jazz saxophone. Currently, I am preparing to graduate with my Master in Music Performance with a jazz concentration from Duquesne University, and have served as graduate assistant to the jazz department during my graduate studies.
