Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I am from Beaumont, Tx where I began to learn saxophone and participated in concert band, marching band, and small ensembles. I then attended Texas Southern University where I graduated with a degree in music performance with a minor in African American studies. While in college I participated in marching band, wind ensemble, and became a member Kappa Kappa Psi national honorary band fraternity. The most important thing for me to note is that I teach intermediate and advanced jazz saxophone as well as beginning and intermediate clarinet, flute and saxophone. After coming to a certain ability level, I will refer classical students to another teacher.
