Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I base my every teaching style according to what the individual student needs . Teaching a class of 60 students is much different than a one on one class. My teaching experience began in high school where, as a junior, I began teaching middle school saxophone players. As I went through high school I began to realize that I had a knack for teaching young players one-on-one as opposed to a large classroom, this is what inspired me to study music performance as opposed to music education. Depending on the skill level of the individual I adjust the lesson plans. All students shall do their basic scales and preliminary sight reading. For beginners (of all ages) proper technique will be heavily emphasized. This will include posture and form. We will then evolve into basic classical pieces to learn and continue to build on the fundamentals. With intermediate students we will begin to learn advanced scales and proper audition techniques.
