I continue to play regularly in a variety of genres and venues, and am continually seeking new projects and new connections with other musicians. I began teaching music lessons to my friends and peers who were beginning to take up new instruments(piano, bass, & guitar) when I was in middle school. At that time, I had developed a strong foundation in piano, begun learning trumpet in school, and self-taught myself the guitar. In high school, I taught younger students throughout the school district private lessons in trumpet through an organization called Arts Without Boundaries - many of these students took lessons with me for multiple years. My voice lessons are tailored solely to the abilities and interests of the student. If they prefer classical repertoire, we work through various art songs in Italian, German, French and English, focusing on technique and diction. If they prefer musical theatre, we have fun with the acting side of it, while learning good technique. My entire life, I have been dedicated to the study of music. From my early childhood education to present day gigs and songwriting, music has always been a centerpiece of my life. I have performed all around the world and am incredibly grateful for the learning experiences I have been blessed with. Around age 11 was when I first played the saxophone in jazz band, and when we started learning about chord progressions and improvising, that's what really cemented my love and study of music.
