My teaching style is based on 3 of my core beliefs. (1) The student is the most important person in the class  ( This is why I do not force  a particular method on every student. Since I have a variety of instruments and style I teach and since the needs of each student are different, I structure my materials and teaching methods for the individual. Both my mother and grandmother were pianists and teachers. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with John Thompson's The Easiest Piano Course, Part1 and I always try to reach Part 4 with the student. After 6 mounts of having lessons with the same kids I am offering them to perform in front of there parents, friends and neighbors. I am a native of Louisville, KY. I started playing piano when I was 5 years old. I started playing bass guitar at age 10, and I started playing guitar at age 20. I started performing in public at the age of 6. By the time I was in high school, I was gigging most weekends. I also started recording when I was in high school. My musical background includes rock, jazz, classical, heavy metal, Middle-Eastern pop music, Christian contemporary, as well as some Latin music. Read More
