From there, I will try to select level-appropriate pieces based off my student's interests, in addition to continuing the Hal Leonard's materials until students progress to a more intermediate level. For adults, I will begin instruction with a chord focus, which allows for a wide range of tranferability within many genres of music. I performed often in local concerts, theatre, and went on a tour around the State of Michigan, during High School.
