1.) I teach the (5) patterns of the major and minor pentatonic scales. 2.) I teach the (7) modal scales using in position and out of position step-patterns. 3.) I teach the (3) minor scales: Natural minor (Aeolian), Harmonic minor, and Melodic minor. 4.) I talk about the theory behind the Circle of Fifths and the relative minor chords to each major chord in the Circle of Fifths. 5.) I cover the ever so popular I-IV-V chord progression as well as other chord progressions and the use of the major, minor, diminished, and augmented chords. 6.) I, also, teach alternate guitar tunings like DADGAD andDGCGCD, made famous by guitar greats like Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac. 7.) I will demonstrate proper guitar playing postures and proper fret board fingering techniques. 8.) I can teach the arpeggio scales for the major, minor, diminished, and augmented chords, as well as some arpeggio sweeps, a technique made famous by the likes of Frank Gambole. 9.) I can show some bi-dextral tapping technques made famous by the likes of Eddie Van Halen and Steve Vai. 10.)
