I am an enthusiastic instructor who enjoys helping students gain confidence and enjoyment with music. In 2010, I received my masters degrees from Eastern Michigan University in Classical Guitar Performance. Since 2000, I have played well over 1000 concerts in pop rock band The Outer Vibe as a writer and guitarist. My touring experience has given me the opportunity to play all across the United States. My teaching experience dates back to my school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 5 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument.
