I have been playing music for fifteen years. I have been teaching music for nearly a decade. I have played locally and in Nashville while i was in school. I have extensive band experience in both old and new music. Every student i have ever taught has enjoyed the process and has always looked forward to coming to lessons. I have experience with recording music as my field of study in college was audio production. I have been around, and performed with, some of the best musicians in the industry and would love to pass the knowledge on to you!

I think that when teaching an instrument it is very important to get the student off the ground and playing with others as quickly as possible. I am a strong believer in teaching a few chords and one scale and letting the student begin playing with bands and making their own music. I think that music is a personal thing that shouldn't be too strict or rigid from the start. When starting a student out i like to make sure they are having fun and performing before I show them the inner workings of what they are playing.
