I started teaching violin and guitar lessons in high school and was fortunate enough to have had students throughout college on a much wider array of instruments. Lately, since Ive begun teaching from my home studio in Leicester, NC, Ive also been able to hone my skills as a performer in the diverse music scene that flourishes in these mountains. It is very important that the student has a grasp on the fundamentals of music and music theory so they can understand what it is they are learning, but every student should have the opportunity to adjust and set their own pace. My experience takes me straight out of high school. I have been a drum tech at West Johnston High School since Fall of 2015. Since then I've risen in the ranks and have taken a much bigger role. In between all of that, I've all taught at Wake Christian Academy as Percussion director for about a year. I've given a couple of students from that school private lessons and I've encouraged all of them to become better and more educated in the marching arts! Read More

My teaching experience begins back in my college years as I initially began teaching beginner piano at an after school program. Since college, I’ve been able to work in public schools around the NYC area, teach privately for several music institutions in Long Island, conducted hundreds of online video lessons, and have also been able to successfully build my own in-home roster of students as well.
