This goes back to my childhood, because at that moment my teacher realized the facilities that I had not only to learn quickly but also to help my classmates who for different circumstances were not so much facilitated. Since I have a variety of instruments and style I teach and since the needs of each student are different, I structure my materials and teaching methods for the individual. I particularly enjoy teaching beginners and young children. I've taught piano from many books including John Thompson books and Hal Leonard Series. Both my mother and grandmother were pianists and teachers. Beginning students ages 6-14 usually do best with a 30 minute lesson (Lesson are not timed) Students 15 and older can typically benefit from an hour lesson to start (Lessons are not timed) Intermediate to Advanced Students are scheduled for 60 minutes regardless of age.
