Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I start with the end in mind. Once your student has established clear, realistic goals with me, all the focus is on reaching those goals. It is also made clear that it is the student's responsibility to come into each lesson showing clear evidence that they've practiced the music. I'm stern about this. For beginning students, I do like to start out with a beginning guitar book as well as some finger exercises that I have developed. After we get to a certain point I like to introduce my teaching method along with solo pieces for the student to work on.
