I can teach multiple styles and ways depending on the student! I have several methods I use as well. I use the watching and listening method, or the reading and following music. Which ever the student is interested in! I have taught multiple children and have my repertoire of what is age appropriate and when. I generally start with introducing the student to the instrument, fretboard, nut, saddle, etc. I show the student how to hold the guitar and pick. Each lesson starts with technical exercises, follwed by repertoire. Each student does theory during the lesson with twenty questions at the end. During this time, I do all review theory material. Difficult passages are marked with a "P" chart. They have to play the difficult part four times and get a "P" for each perfect playing.
