I have had plenty of experience teaching both privately and in a classroom setting. I began teaching private lessons on the piano and violin in high school, where I mainly had elementary school beginners. In college, I continued to teach private lessons and also had plenty of opportunities to work with students of all different ages and skill levels in a variety of settings. I started teaching guitar 21 years ago when a friend of mine asked for some pointers. After working with him for a couple months, it became apparent to me that I was really enjoying sharing the techniques and tricks to more comfortable, relaxed playing.
