I have been teaching the saxophone since 2008, to both kids and adults, beginners and advanced players. I always like to incorporate music theory and aural skills into my lessons as I believe those subjects are a must in becoming a well-rounded musician. I do not usually follow a book/method page-to-page but rather adjust the curriculum to each and every student. I am a caring and motivating music teacher and I love using students gifts to help develop their musicianship goals. I graduated from the University of Arizona in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Music Education. My greatest passion is playing and teaching Irish music because I was given the opportunity to study abroad while in college and fell in love with the music tradition.
