During my master's degree at University of Louisiana, I was a teacher of record for a woodwind technique course, which focused on scales and supplementary lessons to the student's lesson with the flute professor. I'm a licensed teacher that enjoys sharing my passion for music. In December 2016, I graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education. Performing as part of Cedar Creek Community Band, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra Pit has given me a variety of experiences to inform my teaching. I focused on performing during my undergraduate studies; then had the opportunity to share my musical talents in a different way when I began my music therapy career.
