I am a passionate flutist located in the Glendale area who loves to inspire and motivate students! In 2015 I graduated from Northern Arizona Univeristy with my bachelors in music performance, as well as in criminology criminal justice. Expanding my experience as a musician in professional settings within Flagstaff and other areas has been life-changing and made me come to the realization that music is a true passion of mine, as well as sharing my talent with students and audience members. I'm a passionate and curious musician. I'm self-taught in the styles of classical and jazz from when I picked up the clarinet I found at a Salvation Army at the age of 10. I taught myself until I started college and studied with Kelly Lake, Stephanie Gardner, Jeff Quamo and Cris Inguanti at NAU. While working toward receiving my Masters in Clarinet performance at NAU, I taught music theory and aural perception at the undergraduate level. In addition to teaching I've had two pieces written and recorded for me along with a couple tracks on a comedian's recent albums. Stefanie completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Clarinet Performance at Arizona State University in May 2011. She has studied with and performed in master classes for Robert Spring, Eddy Vanoosthuyse, Jorge Montilla, William O. Smith, Larry Combs, Robert Riseling, Ronald Van Spaendonck, Maurita Mead, Nathan Williams, and Marie Picard. She has performed in a wide variety of ensembles including ASUs Chamber Players, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Clarinet Choir, and several chamber ensembles. Read More
