Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. Saxophone/flute: Any beginning band method book or standard beginning to intermediate woodwind book. Appropriate repertoire. Piano: I use most beginning methods, including Alfred, Bastien, Piano Adventures (Faber), and other standard piano methods.
