My teaching style is a mix of fun and education. I was a student who struggled with ADD and I want to make each student's learning experience fun as the rudiments are mastered. I include drum set sheet music, and learning the student's favorite songs at their pace. If they need help with school band charts they are welcomed to bring them for study at the lesson. Throughout grade school and high school I have rearranged parts for band teachers. In 2016, I graduated from Valor Christian College with a degree in Music while directing the youth band of a 4,000 member church. I then began my studies at Berklee College of Music where I learned enhanced theory. Upon finishing that I will be obtaining my Master’s in Music as well as a second Bachelors in counseling where I have learned an array of communication and teaching skills for implementing core values.
