I've been teaching from as early as middle school. I had my first two bassoon students in middle school. While I was still in high school in 1995, I began giving drum lessons to neighborhood kids. After a while, I realized it was something I could really get into. Before even graduating, I taught 10-12 steady students for quite a long time. Some of the neighborhood kids studied with me until they went to college. The Orff Aproach  One on One online lessons Due to CV19 I am adapting new techniques that i have developed on my own experience. There is a constant latency during live streamed lessons and that's why accommodating new ways to approach the listening/Play are so important. I try my best to give my students the space where they can feel comfortable enough to open themselves to new routines. I am a percussionist , drummer and beginning piano instruction. I have a music degree as well a master's degree in education. I have been teaching for the past 20 years with both school age student's as well as adults in individual and group settings. Did projects such as Music to My Ears project which won an international award.
