I'm a passionate instructor who loves teaching. I've been a musician since I was 6. I started playing piano, then moved on to percussion. By age 12, I played piano, drums and guitar fluently. I continued my education up to my masters from Texas A&M University in 2012. Upon graduating, I started teaching in the brazos county area. I moved closer to Houston to expand my career. I believe in the philosophy of and empty cup. My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student. There is no "cookie cutter" method that works for all students, because everyone learns and comprehends a little bit differently. I remain sensitive to that and patient with my students. I do this by letting the student choose their own music. I always add something fun into each lesson which keeps each student interested.
