I usually begin with some basic theory and then show various techniques from popular works and how this can be applied to original compositions. My teaching style places emphasis on relationship building, knowledge grabbing and demonstration. Developing a relationship includes relatability, comfort & communication. Here humor is used. I am a working musician, traveling singer-songwriter, and long-time educator. While at school I focused my education on music and the music industry and building my career as a singer-songwriter.
