I marched for the Mooresville Senior High School Pride and Motion marching band for 4 years. My teaching experience dates back to 2019, as I began assisting a band director with the rhythm and percussion section of the band. Since early 2020 I have been teaching drum lessons privately to any local students that have an interest in learning how to play drums. Encouraging students to practice at least once a week, even if it is just for 10-30 minutes, is a key point I strive to emphasize for my students. Read More

My experience takes me straight out of high school. I have been a drum tech at West Johnston High School since Fall of 2015. Since then I've risen in the ranks and have taken a much bigger role. In between all of that, I've all taught at Wake Christian Academy as Percussion director for about a year. I've given a couple of students from that school private lessons and I've encouraged all of them to become better and more educated in the marching arts! Read More

I set goals for my students to achieve and once the basics have been mastered I open it up for them to decide. IF they want to be a performer I will work with them toward being a great performer.
