I consider myself to be a Swiss Army Musician. I earned my BS in Music Ed from Western Carolina University and my MM in Percussion from Appalachian State University. I love variety more than anything! I love widening my perspective by dipping my toes into as many different styles and instruments as possible.   I have been teaching and mentoring students for 7 years.  I hold a B.A. from Hampton University, a M.M. from Central Michigan University, and a North Carolina teaching license in instrumental music education.  I am currently a band director in Leland North Carolina. I teach brass, woodwind and percussion methods. I enjoy working with students and performing great music.  My teaching career began in college. I have played live since I was 13 years of age, as such I can relay this expereince as it is a drummers goal to be the tactical metrenome of a musical project both live, studio, and for self worth. My training has been both formal and informal, self-taught and others-taught, over the course of 4 decades of life.
