I am a professional saxophonist/flutist in central Florida who gigs over 200+ dates a year. I freelance with original bands, wedding and corporate groups. I play in jazz, funk, RB, reggae, soul, rock, songwriter, classical and world music styles. I received my A.A. in Music Performance at Valencia College in Orlando (2012) before becoming the music tutor there for one school year from 2012-2013. I want to be encouraging to my students in a way that makes them want to continue music. When students get older they have more opportunities to participate in other activities and it is important to instill that love of music within them. I began playing the clarinet at the age of 12. My primary clarinet teachers were Jack Fisher, William Holman, Thomas Ridenour, Carmine Campione, Brian Moorhead, and John Yeh. I earned my B.M. and B.S. degrees from the University of South Florida and my M.M. degree from DePaul University. I have performed, and still perform, with many orchestras throughout Florida including The Florida Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Opera, Sarasota Opera, Southwest Florida Symphony, Orlando Philharmonic, Brevard Symphony, Space Coast Symphony, and the Walt Disney World Candlelight Orchestra.
