I am a passionate music educator who loves working with instrumental students of all ages. In 2015, I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education. During my time there, I participated in many ensembles and was awarded with several honors for my saxophone performance abilities. During this time, I also studied the oboe as my secondary instrument. It's quite difficult and unproductive to try and fit every student into the same method. Younger students, beginning and intermediate, progress often has to follow a school dictated path. I know that everyone learns at different paces, different styles, different ways. My goal is to individualize each musical teaching experience that best serves each student's needs. I am a dedicated clarinetists and private instructor, and I love being able to teach people of all ages and skill levels. I am a Sophomore Music Industry major at Middle Tennessee State University. One of my biggest enjoyments of the clarinet is solo repertoire, and I've participated extensively in competitions all over.
