I have over five years of teaching experience and specialize in Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute lessons. I also teach advanced music theory and composition as well as beginning level piano, acoustic guitar and ukulele. I have taught all types of students from age ranges of four to seventy years of age and taught lessons to students unable to speak English as well as students with disabilities. The ultimate goal is always to have a student who is moving forward, reaching realistic goals, and developing a passion for music. I set goals for the next lesson, the end of the quarter, and long term for my students. These goals are set with the student as well so we are moving together as a team towards their next step. I have found that by setting reasonable expectations, setting milestones in which to reach, and by letting the student know ways to measure reaching those mile stones we are able to tailor the instructions to the wants and needs of that student.
