I went on to complete my Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University with Marion Davies, and my Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Parry Karp. I have had plenty of experience teaching both privately and in a classroom setting. I began teaching private lessons on the piano and violin in high school, where I mainly had elementary school beginners. In college, I continued to teach private lessons and also had plenty of opportunities to work with students of all different ages and skill levels in a variety of settings. I took plenty of college level courses on education and music and eventually completed my student teaching in a middle and high school orchestra classroom. Read More
