Cleveland bass students will have the opportunity to take their bass lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of our teachers' studios. Careful attention is placed on each bass student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our Cleveland bass teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the bass lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind. Each student will have the opportunity to perform in one of our recitals no matter what level the student. All aspects of music will be taught, including reading, rhythm, sound development and bass repertoire so that the student becomes a complete musician. Wherever the student's musical interests lie, Musika has a bass instructor to help the student realize his or her greatest musical ambitions!
Students taking bass lessons in Cleveland will have the chance to share their new found skills and material with family and friends at one of our various recital locations. Performing for a live audience enhances the bass student's excitement and joy of playing. Performers include a wide range of Musika's Cleveland bass students from beginners to advanced. Musika's bass recitals are held at various locations in the Cleveland area.
Before your bass lessons can start, it's important to find a quality instrument. That's why we want to help you find a bass that is best for you. Simply ask one of our associates for a referral and we can help you locate a bass rental store in the Cleveland area!

The Electric Bass Guitar originated in the 50s at about the same time as the Electric Guitar. Leo Fender created the precision bass in 1951 which quickly set the standard on which all other Electric Bass Guitars have been judged. Bass Guitar has found a home in every genre of popular music including Jazz, Blues, Country, and Rock. It is often also used as a solo instrument in R&B, Hip Hop, and Funk.
The Bass Guitar also has a very specific role in music. When one thinks of the elements of music often rhythm is what comes to mind. The Bass Guitar is the glue that holds the rhythm together. It is the lowest voice in music. There is something about the deep pulsing vibe of a bass line that makes everyone groove and tap their foot. Music without a Bass line tends to be flat; the Bass, though sometimes unnoticed, is really what gives music its three dimensional quality.
