This success inspired me to start my own trumpet studio. After I graduated high shool, I attended Las Positas Community College to further pursue my education in the musical realm. I quickly adapted to the new environment where, once again, I was a featured soloist in the band and choir programs. I approach teaching like nursing a baby ,u care for the baby,u feed the baby when hungry,u cover the babies body from catching cold , you teach the baby how to eat ,u hug the baby when he or she start crying, when she wants to go put her hand in the fire u stop her and tell her in advance what she’s going to experience.when she’s 18 you start to tell her to set goals and always drive hard to achieve them ,you tell her to never give up and be distracted by boys,you’d tell to always keep learning in life because the day you stop learning you start dying. I approach each student differently because each person has different strengths, needs, and goals. No two lessons are ever taught the same way because each one is tailored to the individual. I am happy to work with students on specific repertoire for auditions or other events, and/or on general literature simply for the love of singing and the joy of growth. It is important to realize that much of success depends on the motivation of the student and that there are no "quick fixes," but if we work together with realistic expectations, everyone will be successful.
