Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am a recent college graduate with a B.A. in music (vocal emphasis) from Lee University who is passionate about providing wholistic music education in ear training, voice, theory, performance, acting, and historical understanding. I have performed with traveling choirs around the world with my college's women's choir, the Ladies of Lee, and I was a member of St. George's Episcopal church choir in their residence at Ely Cathedral in England in 2018. Each week we will determine realistic goals for the student. If progress is made, I may come up with something creative ways to reward my students for their work. I began piano playing at age three, lessons from college faculty at age six, organ lessons at age thirteen and began coaching with my future major teacher at age fifteen. I gave my first New York City solo recital while still in High School and my first accompanying and solo performance at The National Cathedral in High School, and graduated a year early making up four credits the summer after grade 11. As the son of two teachers, I've seen first-hand how important great teaching can be in a young student's life. My first formal teaching experience came while working at Camp Laney--a summer camp for boys--during college. While there, I had the pleasure of working with students of varying ages and experience levels in guitar, voice, and even songwriting. During my time at UNCG, I sang the roles of Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, which I also sang with the Durham Children's Choir. I also sang the roles of Gabriel Von Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, The Defendant in Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial by Jury, along with participating in the ensembles in The Mikado, L'Enfant et les Sortilege, L'Enfant Prodigue, and Cendrillion.
